What is the Bioness product range?
Bioness Ness L300
The Bioness NESS L300 Drop Foot System is light-weight, fits just below the knee and is designed to be easy to put on and take off. The Bioness L300 has three main parts—a leg cuff, a gait sensor, and a remote control—that use wireless communication to "talk" to each other to help you move where you want to go. If it is right for you, the NESS L300 could replace your Ankle Foot Orthosis and could help you:
- Walk more safely
- Walk more easily
- Walk on flat ground
- Walk on uneven surfaces
- Walk up and down stairs
Beyond producing a more normal gait, the Bioness NESS L300
may help:
- Reeducate muscles to function without the system
(motor recovery)
- Prevent or retard muscle atrophy
- Maintain or increase joint range of motion
- Increase local blood flow
Bioness Ness H200
The Bioness NESS H200 is an advanced therapy system designed to use mild electrical stimulation to improve the way your arm works. It may help you get the most out of therapy, and reduce complications including muscle spasms. If the Bioness NESS H200 is right for you, it may make it easier for you to drink from a glass, reach for things, write, and use two hands again. Plus, the NESS H200 may help your rehabilitation because it trains your hand so one day it might work better on its own. The NESS H200 is designed to be easy to use and can be put on with just one hand.
Are the Bioness products right for me?
The NESS L300 and NESS H200 are for people who have problems using their hand or arm or have foot drop because of these medical conditions:
- Stroke (hemiplegic)
- Traumatic brain injury
- Spinal cord injury (C5 and C6)
- Other neurological disorders of the central nervous system (e.g., Parkinson's Disease and other upper motor neuron injuries)
